House in Fernán Núñez. Córdoba

This single-family semi-detached house is projected in the historic centre. The house integrates with the environment despite the abrupt change with the predominant style. Although the house is developed on the ground floor and first floor, a false façade has been created on the second floor facing the street that manages to match the height of the house with that of the adjoining buildings. The result is a house with large interior spaces. The interior blends with the patio and pool space, achieving greater functionality and a visual extension of the living space. The street-facing facade maintains the proportions of traditional openings, but reinterprets them, and thanks to the use of materials such as stone, glass and steel, a simple but very effective result is achieved. Finally, note that the structure of the house was designed in such a way that large spans between pillars were allowed. There are no interruptions which has allowed for a more unrestricted and dynamic design. Project and construction carried out in 2019
